Rainbow Connection

  I titled this post, "Rainbow Connection" not just because I've loved the song ever since I heard Kermit the Frog sing it for the first time when I was eleven years old, but because what could be a more cheerful way to celebrate the connections we have with the special people in our lives, than by being together, surrounded by all the colors of the RAINBOW?  

I would love to throw a party with this theme; the possibilities are endless.  My daughter has already informed me that for her next birthday she'd like a rock star theme to be held at our local arts & crafts store and I'm assuming my son and husband won't want a rainbow themed party for theirs.  I may just have to throw myself a birthday party or perhaps just a party for no occasion other than to celebrate friendship and summer.  One doesn't really need a reason to throw a party, after all.  One simply needs people to help celebrate the festivities and I think I can manage that :)
